The Annual Luncheon of The Royal Warrant Holders Association 2014
Alec McQuin, the National President of The Royal Warrant Holders Association and Managing Director of Rokill Limited, attended the annual luncheon of the Association on the 2nd June 2014. The event was held at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel with 850 guests in attendance. Alec delivered a speech that included a short film which celebrated the successful 2013 Coronation festival and then confirmed plans for the year ahead, and his speech was received enthusiastically by the audience. The guest speaker was Ian Callum, the Director of Design at Jaguar, and he described the painstaking work that goes into designing Jaguar’s iconic British cars.
The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) also held an exhibition of scholars’ work, which featured the excellent examples of art and craft works they produce which included textiles, stone carving, glass, ceramics, metals and wood. Alec presented the 36 scholars awarded scholarships last year with their certificates.
