Rokill’s Chief Technical Officer Brian Duffin appeared on The Katie Martin Show on BBC Radio Solent to talk about the British Pest Control Associations’ National Rodent Survey. This annual survey confirmed that Portsmouth ranked 7th in the UK for the number of treatments carried out for mice. Brian discussed possible reasons the city ranked so highly. Brian _48289955_katiemartin001explained about the biology of mice, how quickly they can breed: “in a year, 2 mice can produce 2000 if uncontrolled”. Prevention and control methods were discussed along with the importance of good housekeeping, proofing of holes and storing items to make them less attractive to mice. While Brian was waiting to go on air he met Nick Clegg who was about to be filmed by the BBC. To listen to the show click here
