Food Hygiene Technologists Awards
Rokill director Chris Turner announced the winners of the 2016 Society of Food Hygiene Technologists awards at the prestigious SOFHT luncheon at the Savoy hotel London.. The awards are sponsored by Rokill, Waitrose, Tate & Lyle, 3m, Alcontrol and Deb. Chris is Chairman of the judging panel that aassess the entries and shortlists the finalists. Chris invited the winners on to the stage to receive their awards from Ian Booth, Chair of the Society.
The winners were:
Best new product – Addmaster – Biomaster bag for life
Company of the year <100 employees – Vikan
Company of the year >100 employees – Holchem
Best trainer – Andy Muirhead
Best training company – Holchem
Best auditor or technologist – Ivan Mateo and Thomas Auer

Jay Rayner presented the 2016 SOFHT lecture in the morning entitled “a greedy man in a hungry world” a thought provoking and entertaining session.
