Pest Control Careers
Rokill Operations Manager Dave Perrett and Chief Technical Officer Brian Duffin are attending the University of Southampton careers fair today to discuss careers in pest control with students.
Working as a pest controller
Pest control work is field based and involves dealing with all sorts of challenging pest problems, liaising with clients and other stakeholders requires tact and diplomacy. Our training programme is excellent and our recruits learn about rats, mice, cockroaches, fleas, flies, bedbugs and a wide variety of other pest species. Pest control is not just about controlling pests but working closely with clients to encourage proofing of holes, gaps and cracks to stop pests entering buildings. Good hygiene and correct storage of materials are all key to effective pest control. We are always interested to hear from people interested in a career in pest control.
