Rokill Avian Laser Deterrent system

Laser technology is being used to deter pest bird species in numerous environments including manufacture, distribution, agriculture and aviation. The principle of repelling birds with a laser beam is inspired by nature. Birds perceive the approaching laser beam as a physical danger. It appeals to the survival instinct, causing the birds to fly away. The continuous presence of the moving laser beam keeps areas free of birds, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The systems have been employed at sites where physical proofing may not be possible or is undesirable for aesthetic reasons. The installation of netting can be guaranteed to be 100% effective, laser systems have achieved impressive results of up to 90% on low to medium pressure sites. The use of laser technology is effective particularly when used as part of an integrated bird control program that may use other deterrent/control techniques.
